Thanks — you just helped decide what our kitchen makes next.
Every great recipe starts with butter. That’s why our chefs, trained in Michelin-starred kitchens, created Better BTTR: a plant butter made to be every bit as delicious.
We’re building our supply around organic farmers we know by name, with every block traceable back to the farm. A better plant butter for your taste buds and your loved ones.
We keep our ingredient list short. We choose simple ingredients and are building close relationships with organic farmers, for top quality from farm to fridge.
Our flavored butters help elevate everyday dishes. From the sizzle of a sauté to the fragrance of a freshly baked treat, each flavor is crafted to bring better flavor, home.

Small Change
Big Impact
For every pound of animal-based butter replaced, you will
Reduce the demand for dairy
Livestock produce 12% of global greenhouse gas emissions (UN FAO, 2023) and animal-based butter carries 12.1 pounds of CO2-equivalent per pound on average (life-cycle study by Quantis for Upfield, 2020).
Long-lived coconut groves
Coconut palms bear fruit for up to 80 years (UN FAO), so one planting keeps giving for generations.
Support farmers in vulnerable climates
By choosing our product, you support communities in Southeast Asian islands who will continue to face the impacts of climate change — fostering resilient farming practices and stronger communities worldwide.

Computed: CO₂e = pounds × 8.8 lb saved per lb (12.1 for animal-based butter − 3.3 for plant spreads; Quantis for Upfield, 2020) ÷ 2,204.6 lb per metric ton ·
share = pounds ÷ ~2.31 billion lb of U.S. butter (USDA 2024, 6.8 lb per person × 340 million) · people = pounds ÷ 6.8 lb.
Assumes each pound of Better BTTR replaces one pound of animal-based butter.
